What the service does

A liftgate lowers suitable freight from the truck to ground level. A pallet jack moves the crate or pallet within the approved delivery area. Carrier and equipment limits apply.

Our service description is: Driver will unload your order curbside. Please be sure your crew is available to assist the driver.

What the service does not establish

Do not assume delivery includes movement into a garage, backyard or pool area. Confirm the unloading location in the written response.

Total order weight alone does not prove that every crate fits a liftgate. The heaviest crate, dimensions, truck and carrier restrictions matter.

Prepare the delivery area

• Confirm a suitable curbside stopping area.
• Tell our team about slopes, gravel and access restrictions.
• Arrange crew availability as required.
• Keep people clear of the unloading operation.
• Confirm the method if liftgate service cannot be provided.

Confirm unloading help in the request

Select I need unloading help when you do not have suitable equipment. Our team can review the delivery arrangement. Do not book a service based only on a general weight example.

• Whether the quote includes a liftgate and pallet jack service.
• The heaviest crate’s weight and dimensions.
• The agreed curbside unloading point and any site restrictions.
• Who must be present and what help the crew must provide.

A liftgate solves the change in height from the truck to the ground. Plan any further movement to the storage or installation area separately.

Inspect the shipment

Check visible crate damage at delivery. Photograph damage and record it on the delivery receipt. Keep copies before the driver leaves.
