Material and finish

Premium Select 12×24 Shellstone Pavers bring a pale cream, off-white, beige and light tan palette to outdoor hardscapes. Visible shell and fossil fragments are natural features of the stone, giving each paver an organic appearance while the overall color remains light and coordinated.

Where can 12×24 Shellstone pavers be used?

The 12×24 format supports clean linear layouts for patios, pool decks, courtyards, covered outdoor areas and walkways. Shellstone is commonly selected when a project calls for a light natural-stone surface with visible fossil character.

Installation and care

Important: Shellstone is a highly porous natural material and is more prone to discoloration and staining than denser stone. Install it with mineral-free sand and/or white thinset, as appropriate for the project, and seal both sides before installation. Use products approved for natural limestone and follow the installer and sealer manufacturer’s directions. This Shellstone material is not covered under Travertine Mart’s 1-year Limited Warranty.

Natural color, fossil distribution, pores and markings vary from piece to piece. Order a sample before purchasing so you can review the current material in your own lighting and alongside the surrounding finishes.
