What does this mean for me?

Water absorption shows the quantity of water that the material absorbs. A lower value shows that the material absorbs less water.

Bulk specific gravity compares the weight of the material with the weight of the same volume of water. A higher value shows a denser material.

The coefficient of friction measures the friction of the material surface. The test record gives a value for dry conditions and a value for wet conditions.

The freeze-thaw test shows the condition of the material after freeze and thaw cycles. The result for this sample is Pass.

These are the published values for this material. They do not replace project-specific installation requirements.

Material and finish benefits

  • Softened edges

The rounded edge treatment makes joints less sharply defined. It suits paving layouts that call for a worn, informal appearance.

  • Borders and smaller layouts

The rectangular format can define a patio border or soldier course. Confirm the layout and cutting plan with your installer.

  • Individual stone character

Natural variation gives the installation its own pattern. Blend pieces from several crates to distribute the color and markings.

Stone care and project requirements

Travertine has natural surface pores and cavities. These features are part of the stone. Use a neutral cleaner approved for natural stone. Avoid acidic cleaners, which can etch the surface. Confirm sealing and wet-area requirements with your installer.

Garden path

These 6x12 ivory pavers made a beautiful garden path through my backyard. The smaller size is perfect for a winding walkway and the ivory color is bright and clean. The pavers are thick and solid, definitely premium quality. The delivery was on time and the driver was friendly and helpful. The guy on the phone helped me calculate how many I needed for my curved path with extra for cuts. The price was great for travertine pavers this nice. My garden path is now the highlight of my yard. I get stopped by neighbors asking where I got my stone.

Patio border

I used these 6x12 ivory pavers as a border around my larger patio and they look perfect. The smaller size creates a nice frame effect and the ivory color matches everything. The pavers are excellent quality, consistent thickness and no defects. The truck driver called me before delivery and helped me count the pieces. The lady on the phone made sure I ordered enough for the border pattern I wanted to do. The price was amazing for pavers this nice and thick. They handle North Carolina rain and humidity with no problems. My patio is now complete and beautiful. I am very happy with this purchase.
